Incredible Edibles is a healthy eating initiative for Primary School pupils. It encourages schools across the country to get busy growing carrots, lettuce, potatoes, strawberries, turnips and herbs. Schools are supplied with grow packs containing everything they need to grow a veritable feast of healthy foods!
On this site you can download curriculum linked activity sheets, log book, a growing planner and you will also find growing videos to help you get set up. Everything that's needed to learn about where food comes from and the importance of fruit, vegetables and potatoes is also available to download.

School Garden of the Week!
School:Kilashee Multi-Denominational National School County:Kildare Teacher:Ms. Edgeworth Class Level:The Green Room Description:We have transplanted our seedlings outside to our raised flower beds. The children labelled each vegetable so everyone can practise their reading skills outside. We also put in some supports for the peas and a net over the lettuce and carrots to keep away hungry animals! We then added in some decoration and a scarecrow sign.
Healthy Eating week will take place 28th May - 1st June 2018 and relates to Task 5 in the logbook. As part of this week, students should record their daily intake of potatoes, fruits and vegetables to complete this task.
