Incredible Edibles is a healthy eating initiative for Primary School pupils. It encourages schools across the country to get busy growing carrots, lettuce, potatoes, strawberries, turnips and herbs. Schools are supplied with grow packs containing everything they need to grow a veritable feast of healthy foods!
On this site you can download curriculum linked activity sheets, log book, a growing planner and you will also find growing videos to help you get set up. Everything that's needed to learn about where food comes from and the importance of fruit, vegetables and potatoes is also available to download.

Incredible Edibles School of the Week!
School:St. Patrick's Boys and Girls Primary School County: Galway City Teacher: Jarlath Conboy Class Level: 1st and2nd class Description: "Prior to the school closure we transformed our garden into a more special needs-friendly environment with raised beds and we planted lots of sensory plants. The children in Room 4 in St. Patrick's Primary School, Galway City are still working hard at the Incredible Edibles competition at home through art, cooking and planting. We made a start to our Incredible Edibles work before the school closures and the children were disappointed that they could not continue it in school. However, they have been continuing their gardening work at home and have even been creating healthy recipes using fruit and vegetables!
