Incredible Edibles - Keep Well Campaign
The Incredible Edibles project has been picked by Bord Bia to showcase how Irish primary pupils across Ireland are Keeping Active in the garden and Eating Well to Keep Well.

Background: The ‘Keep Well’ campaign is a key part of the Government’s Resilience and Recovery Plan for Living with COVID-19. ‘Keep Well’ is aimed at supporting everyone to do things that will do them good and is organised under five themes – keeping active, keeping in contact, switching off and being creative, minding your mood and eating well.
We have been asked to deliver on two of the five key messages:
1. Keeping Active
2. Eating Well

As the Incredible Edibles Project is aimed at encouraging the consumption of 5-7 fruit and vegetables a day for a healthy balance diet, as well as learning all about the benefits of keeping active in the garden for good mental and physical wellbeing, all while being linked to the curriculum, we feel it is the perfect fit to advocate for the two themes above.

Agri Aware aim to communicate and deliver an impactful month-long campaign in March. March also coincides with Task 3: Growing (23rd Feb – 12th of March) and Task 4: Cooking/Preparing of the project.

This campaign will include social media campaign messaging relating to Keeping Well by being active and eating well, as well as 4 activity bursts showcased throughout the 5 weeks in March. We will also have some videos from a fitness, nutritionist and horticulturist to share with you their top tips on how to stay active and eat healthy.

But we need your help to get involved and make this campaign a success!

You can do so by reading the details below, uploading any work to our JotForm platform to share, or create your own Keep Well webpage on your schools’ website and share the link with us!
